A downloadable game for Windows

This is my first Game Jam project and it is very rusty around the edges. It contains only 8 rooms and various puzzle elements.

It is a simple puzzle game focused around planning your moves based on what the dice in the large skull. You play as a small skull that can roll around and flip levers. There can be a bit of confusion for some of the game elements, so to make up for some of that, I'll add some helpful info below.

Below are some game related tips.

General:

Use WASD and E to move / interact. Use ESCAPE to restart level.

The levers each have unique borders that correspond to an eye-die.

Red levers can only be pulled once.

Green Plus adds the die to the eye, Red Minus removes the die from the eye.

Doors and traps with dice labels will activate when the corresponding eye matches.

----------------------------------

Room 4 and onward:

Golden flooring tiles have special effects, based on the first eye.

Hearts make you invincible to fire and spiders.

Arrows make it so the dice do not roll down while on the tile.

Eye tiles are deadly.

----------------------------------

Room 6 and onward:

Keys have unique shapes that correspond with the first eye.

Keys can only be picked up when the first eye matches the shape.

All keys must be picked up to open key-gates.

Room 7 is a bit convoluted.

----------------------------------

If you get stuck or decide to revisit the game later, or just get bored, you can use CTRL + F to skip a level or CTRL + R to go back a level.

Just finished playing your game, FruitGhost!

Rules and controls were simple, but enjoyed the creative challenge of solving the levels. A little confused about the icon in the left eye of the skull,  but the puzzles could be solved without! Died quite often, but didn't get disparaged.

Would be cool to see a death counter and a key counter (how many halves of keys collected). Maybe some death noise from the skull when the character dies. Could really delve into the lore aspect of the game.

Looking forward to your next game!
